Olsen Carlos
Wow, it has been a long time since Eric or I have even thought about this blog. Now that our little son is here, I thought I would get back in the game. I'm still trying to figure out how to put a blog together, so please bear with me. I'll get up all the important stuff and then go from there. Happy reading!
Olsen Carlos Turner was born on November 28 (9 days late), 2o11 at 8:48 p.m. He weighed a whopping 8 pounds and was 20.75 inches long. I wasn't expecting such a big baby, but he was beautiful in every way.

Baby Kicks
It is an exciting time for me in Amanda's pregnancy. A few days ago, while we were in the Tacoma, WA area, I felt our baby kick for the first time. Most of the time his kicks are small and I have to really pay attention to feel them but a few times they have been very strong and distinct. I try to get my hand on her belly for a few minutes at different times of the day and them I prompt him by saying, "High five baby. High five."
It is also exciting because Amanda is now 23 weeks pregnant and our growing son is 11 inches long and weighs a little more than a pound. No strangers have asked her if she is pregnant yet but it is easily noticed by people who have known her for more than a few months. A pregnant wife is a beautiful sight and she is looking more and more pregnant all the time.
